The Lampe Cabanon by Nemo is a unique design icon created by Le Corbusier in 1952 for his seaside retreat Cabanon on the French Riviera.
Following the proportions of the Modulor, the lamp embodies the architect’s vision of essential living.
Its shade is made from tracing paper, the material Le Corbusier used in his sketches, while the base was inspired by a wartime mortar shell carrier found on French beaches.
Measuring 42cm in height with a 21cm triangular base, Lampe Cabanon is not only a functional lamp but also a symbol of rebirth and simplicity in the post-war era. A true collector’s piece for living rooms, offices, libraries or hospitality interiors.
